ok, so I have a lot of layers in gimp and I know that I can make it a .gif image, but I want to export every layer as a single image to combine them together in blender to make sort of a 2D video (a cartoon)
is that possible to achieve in gimp? (there are a lot of layers so there is no way that is it going to be manual :P)

I tried it but it didn’t work

No problem here on Ubuntu 11.04 with Gimp 2.6
