A n00b question of scale...???

How do we know when its the right size?
It being; whatever we are working on.

Perhaps I am overlooking something very obvious, but I dont see a setting for scale.

Is there a setting?

Can I set it, or is it implied?

Thanks.

It makes no difference what size things are, unless they are so big that they are out of cameral range, in which case you can adjust it in the buttons window, or, press A key to select all, and then press S for scale, and move your mouse in toward the center to size everything down.

Apparently you can draw to scale in Blender Sum(I haven’t tried it yet) using your grid lines set up accordingly.

I found some useful info in this thread about drawing to scale:
https://blenderartists.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12033&highlight=scale+model

From that thread I think there’s another link to someone’s blend file. The file itself shows his flight paths for a jet he had in a game but if you open the file and look at his scenes he has them all set up so you can draw to whichever scale you need using different settings on the grid lines themselves.
