# A Pirate's Farewell

The artwork represents a tribute to a fallen pirate, where friends and family have created an improvised altar to honor his memory. At the center is the pirate’s iconic hook hand, preserved under a glass dome, the only remnant left of him after the shipwreck. Hanging beside it is a piece of an old newspaper, announcing the tragedy in which no one survived. The scene is complemented by bottles of liquor and flowers, symbolizing the celebration and homage to the pirate’s life.
