A question about a type of bone animation.

I remember quite a while back I had used a starting blend for a tutorial that I was following, and within the starting blend, one of the bones for the leg could be used to provide the entire motion for the leg, bending the knee, twisting the ankle, raising and lowering the foot along all of there possible axis’ of movement, and I was wondering what that was called, as I am trying to look it up now, but it’s been so long, I don’t have that blend anymore, and can’t remember for the life of me what it was called, even though I am sure it said it in the blend’s notes somewhere.

Any help would be appreciated, I hope this was the right section to put this under.

inverse kinematics? :eyebrowlift: or was it something more rig specific?

After looking those words up, yea, Im pretty sure it was Inverse Kinematics, thanks I couldn’t remember what it was called.
