A question about UV map editing in blender/gimp

Hello, I am wondering how to edit a UV map in gimp, whilst still having it open in blender, and being able to update the uv map in blender with the same file so i can see the changes. Refreshing is ok, i dont mind doing it, i just need to know how to set this up.

You mean editing the texture in Gimp and see the texture changes in Blender?

File save in Gimp, Refresh in blender’s UV Editor.
There was a script(s) which did this automatically with a second intervals.
