A question (in HD video format)

Here’s the link If your computer hates embedded videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ouc-44XkMy0

Watch in 720p fullscreen.

I’ve looked everywhere for an answer - bothering people on the blender forums is my last resort.
Any help is appreciated…

Should be as simple as moving one of the animations to another layer (layer 1) while leaving the other at layer 0. I agree, not much documentation on it… there way a video on YouTube explaining it… Ill try and find a link, but here goes my knowledge of the situation, someone can correct me if I am wrong:

Actions play on layers, when actions are played on the same layer, priority determines what plays (lower priority number = will play over higher priority numbers)

Actions on the SAME BONE in DIFFERENT LAYERS doesn’t work (That is the layer weight slider… shows which takes more precedence)

So as long as your actions are on different bones in different layers they can play at the same time, or you can blend the layer actions to create a hybrid action.

Let me know if you need more help.
