I think I’m intrested, just post a little demo of that game, then people thingk, holy s…t and really want to figure it out, or publish a trailer. Just let use take a sneakpeak to see what’s the queality is, like we could do by the game engine book by viewing some sources, pdf pages and screens.
Would this be cross platform (Win32, Mac, Linux, Etc) or just for the PC users?
Would there be more in depth documentation (the game engine book doesn’t go into a whole lot of detail. I usually have to go to the forum to find my answers.)
Overall a good idea. I would pay if it wasn’t targeted at a specific platform.

Notice all the software I use is freeware and not too plateform dependant.
Also I plan to have plenty of example scripts well documented for each function. And if possible find a video codex that can hold subtitle, I know theres a few.
Hmm… Why not make it a ‘open-source’ project where anyone could help making it, and then make it free for everyone to download on www.blender.org?
I dont think blender.org could with stand huge download becuase of the demos and video content.

The game itself will be avaliable for download so that means all the scripts used in the game. I may also release 1-2 vid documents if I can find space todo so.
I am also thinking of adding in character creation and simplistic ways of developing characters w/o being a really good artist.
So far I did a mini modeling vid for lowpoly but got interrupted @ 18 mins it run out to be 44 megs zipped… But thats @ 640x480 @ 320x256 compressed with divx it comes around too 32 megs zipped.
But I can always chop the video up.
To everyone else:
-Besides the written documentation on the gamelogic along with bitching script examples would you find video tuts on creating special effects in blender’s game engine useful?
Ok I’ve started the vids an ran into some problems, not recording but content.
I began the vid on lowpoly modelign with modeling wabi but it came to an hour I ran out of commentary, my voice died so I stopped recording. I finsihed the model though. Would you rather see exercised of techniques or just watch an extremely long vid with me rambling on?
