A sugestion to improve the sticky info

I’m currently browsing to all the sticky documentation available and i must say that it’s a bit unfriendly to follow. I would like to propose a new organization to the stickied threads to help find information faster and better.

First why not organize all these into a single general FAQ thread and subdivide it into indexes pointing to forum threads?

		 			 			 			Sticky: [Starting a game project? Read this first!](http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?t=84388)
		 			 			 			Sticky:  			 			[Games/Demos/Tutorial list Dec 25 2006](http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?t=11430)
		 			 			 			Sticky: [be a blender GE pro now !!](http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?t=56842)
		 			 			 			Sticky:  			 			[GameBlender developer tools](http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?t=8780)

The threads above can be in the general faq as questions.

How should i announce my game project?

<Link to thread>

How should i use the forums to obtain info?

First read the faq, if the answer isn’t there or in one of the sub-faqs do a search in the forums and if you find nothing state exactly what you want to know in the forums

Or something like that.

Where can i find info about the GE on the official site?

<link to official site sub-faq>

Where can i find info about the GE in other places?

<link to external help sub-faq with sites>

What games have been made with the GE?

<link to external help sub-faq about list of working, finished or in progress games>

I’m looking for an answer to a simple question, like how do i use lights in the GE, where should i look?

<Link to thread containing an howto that is maintained and cleaned up ocasionaly with simple answers to simple problems>

Where can i find free resources: examples, code templates, content, theoric docs?

<Link to sub-faq about resources>

I’m lookink for and answer to a more complex problem, like how to mount an avatar or how to setup a skybox, where should i look?

<Link to thread containing the howto>

This howto can be something like this:

How to setup a skybox:
…list of tutorial links with solutions for this problem
How to create an avatar:
…list of tutorial links with solutions for this problem

If the main faq is bigger than 20 questions it should be split in sections with an index on top, or better yet, move some questions into a sub-faq and keep the main-faq small like an index itself.

In short all the faqs, howtos, and tutorials should answer to peoples needs in a way that is quick to locate info for the problems people want to solve.

I hope you find this sugestion useful.
