What happened to tohupuu’s (did I spell that right?) shaded+rounded interface? I love it.
How hard would it be to change blender’s interface.

Blender has a rounded UI- just pull down the bar at the top and choose an interface.

Yes blender has a rounded interface. But the tohupuu interface could be rounded, and shaded! If don’t belive me, download it and check it.
Blender’s interface, aesthetically, is good as it is. The UI might improve a bit on usability for non-familiar users but we don’t need shadows. Let’s keep it as nice and easy as possible. We need a simple yet effective interface, not a pretty one!
Btw, what’s a suggestionism? My dictionary didn’t get further than suggestion.

Charlsworth may have a point, look at the interfaces of most apps and you see they’re not fancy to the point where you would need a lot of resources just to draw it. While a simple shading may not hurt I perfer they keep the interface button style similar to how it is now and not super fancy with all the trimmings like the one for Windows Vista.

Yeah I loved the tuhupuu shaded round buttons… the round buttons we have now are just plain ugly… I have used tuhuppu just because of the buttons until I had to drop it…
Too bad Matt’s work didn’t make it into CVS 
I would not say that they are ugly; be nice. I like them. But I miss the othe interface. And I’m sure they could but it back…
