Everywhere only one advice: Shrinkwrap and Solidify – and everywhere it looks cool! except what I have, and I have this:
Please, specify the mistake.
pls provide blend file so we can check it out
Add a grid fitting your text with proper subdivision, bind the text to the grid in Surface Deform modifier and shrink warp the grid onto the wanted surface…
The text should have “proper” topology… so convert to mesh and remesh or use any other make-better-topology-for-text trick (see also the awesome forum search function (top right
–icon) )
Sorry, I may not, because I’m a new user
I understand I need convert a sphere to curve, but nothing happens, It is still mesh
No, just add a circle curve with the same radius.
just for the future: you can just upload to any cloud service and then copy the link here ![]()
Or spend some minutes on the forum and read some posts.. to be “promoted”..

Okay-okay, understood. It works, but text reminds me sOmEtHiNg lIkE tHiS, and I can’t regulate in a proper way a text scale. What I miss?
i think in your case a curve modifier is giving the best result:
text on curve example.blend (1.5 MB)
3dnotguru’s solution is very simple and super understandable and I understood what it need else. Second curve like this:
This is necessary to curve a text vertically
text on curve example2.blend (1.5 MB)
Yes or no?
from the example i added here, you can just rotate the beziercircle and then move the text a bit like this:

you don’t need 2 modifiers
i don’t understand…do you want a straight text there? then you cannot use the curve modifier - it bends the text. But honestly i have no idea how your end result should look like. Maybe share a picture how it should look, so that we can see the whole text how you want it?
I am satisfied with the help I have received. The text “should” stick to the sphere and be curved horizontally and vertically. It is working, and I am leaning towards 3dnotguru’s method, as this method give the text be more independent and this is just very simple, but we need two Circles to curve the text not only horizontally but also vertically.
Okidoki and Jeacom have curveing horizontally and vertically. And now I have this with 3dnotguru’s method
