I wanted to make a nice looking table in blender. But once I made a decent looking table, I didn’t know what to put on it, so i decided to give it a blender theme. I’m happy with the table, but the rest I think is just medeokor. I do want to get a better wall texture though. Just to let you know, I’m still some-what new to blender.
Hope you like it, let me know what you think.

i like the table allot! the windows need help but thats it. i wish i had a computer like that…
Hey, good stuff. To get rid of the jaggedies in the image make sure OSA is turned on in render buttons and the number of samples is set to 16.
The texture on the legs is nice.
Blend on.

Look at the blender book, he is IN the table. and an osa render will make a better quality to your render
Is that a toaster or a computer? I guess its for late night snacking…
all in fun my friend. It looks good for a new-b Better than my first desk.
Keep up the blending and dont quit!
Apart of what was mentioned already: The wall and window are bad, and I guess you sure know. The color of the table is different than color of its legs. Also the texture looks to me a bit too large. Scale it down, so it looks like made of the same kind of wood. You have to work on the lighting. The scene looks dark and the shadows distracting. Look at the spot where left hind leg meets the carpet. It looks very flat – mainly because of bad lighting. The carpet would be much better having 3D texture.
Hey thanks for the great feed-back. I turned on the OSA and it looks great. You can see the changes below. Thanks a lot, hope you like the changes.
mouse is maybe too cubic
Looking good The texture on the legs looks great. But where is the actual computer? Is that what the little black box is to the left.
Yea, since some of you where wondering, the little black box @ the end of the table is the computer. It is one of those new mini tower comps. You can also see the 2 disk white disk drives in it. The little arc on the top is the handle 2 carry it with.
Thanks for the tips.
Your table top material need some tweaking. The OSA really helps.
Looks much better with the OSA on. Nice table and pretty good work.
I dunknow if this is what you’d want to do or not, but you could do a printscreen of blender (You could have blender open with a huge render screen of BLENDER 3D still even) and use it as a texture for the monitor screen. That would make it look more like a real computer.

A little like this one I did a while back

that OSA seems to really make a huge difference here. Don’t think I remember any other place it was so radical.
The OSA really does make a difference!
BTW, you should subsurf the mouse pad or something…it looks too…polygonal.
