A way to convert Blender's sharp edges to 3dsmax's smoothing groups?

Is there a way to convert Blender’s sharp edges to 3dsmax’s smoothing groups? I tried with the “smooth groups” option in obj exporter, but they came out broken. The fbx is no help either.

EDIT: Ok, I found a whole thread about this, and the newest versions support quite decent obj export with smoothing groups (single hard edges are not exported though).
