A Whale of a Game Pack. Some scripting required, or not.

Here is a game pack of WW2 models. They have been available on the internet before, but these have higher res textures, complete hulls, and have been updated to 2.5. They are also scaled to real world sizes.
They are relativly low poly apart from Belfast, and may be usefull for newbs to use as props, or mayby even a complete game.
Sorry about the title, now working on higher quality models.

If anyone does want to try Belfast in VS, after you unzip the file, put The folder marked Belfast into the VS boats directory. The folders Belfast 1 thru 5 go in the weapons directory. If you are using the demo, you can only have 7 different boats in the program at any one time, so you will have to move one of the preinstalled. I can do a tute on how to export a blender boat to VS if anyone wants, but there own documentation is adiquate just.

They look like very good models. How do we use them.

Oyaki, thanks, Im hoping that the new shader support for the game engine will make it easier to create more realistic seascapes. My current graphics card dosent help matters much. The VS simulator is brillient for very quike setups and visulisations, once you get the hang of exportng out of blender, but blenders game engine is much more capable for the actual game play. I am working on new assets to put together in blenders game engine.
I havent used it for a while, but keep noticing bugs being squashed every now and then.
Yesterday, when i spotted the ******** ******** thing, I thaught the link was broken so I remade the pack. I spotted that the new hulls dident have light enabled, so I thaught I would fix that before I reuploaded it. 2.53 still dosent have the copy face option, so I opened it in 2.49 for a quike fix. When I reloaded it back in 2.53 a lot of the materiels had set themselves to transparent. I am not sure if this is the parent material taking the attributes from the child objects or not.
Anyway, does anyone know if if the game engine is now sorted enough to start building a game.
I have spent years working towards this sort of thing, only to see improvements require a complete rework umpteen times.
