Node Setup in Blender

The Original Render and Composite

This is my first ever winter scene with Blender.

Hope you like it, I’m sure it still needs a bit of work but I’m really enjoying learning Blender it’s absolutely fantastic to work with!

I have to say that I was a fan of the Blender Render Engine but I’ve used Cycles for this and I don’t think I’ll go back. :stuck_out_tongue:

Great job, I prefer the render without compositing but both look great. How did you make the water?

Hey Lorkars,

It’s just a plane with this material node setup:

I also did a small smoke simulation with particles using cycles to get a little bit of misty smokey stuff going on. Probably can’t tell because it’s super subtle but I did that with the water as well.

Give it a try it’s great!
