OK after going through tutes, examples, and the blender gamekit manual I still can’t get my object to bounce off the floor. I am using the sensor “touch” with the name of the plane material and setting the actuator to impart a force in the z-direction. Still no good. Guess I need to go back to basics. Can anyone here help me out?!
Doesn’t it always happen. You ask a question on the forum and then you figure it out: I did not have the collision button selected so that the face of my plane (ground) was not being evaluated by the game engine. Guess I’ll start gluing my hair back on now!
Yeah, that happens a lot of the time:) Usually when your pulling your hair out, it means you are missing something rediculously obvious. Sometimes its a true problem though. It is then that it is truly frustrating:)
Usually it helps when you’re going for a walk or something like that. Just something that distracts you from the problem…
Just out of curiosity, how did it get to not have collision turned on? Collision is turned on by default, so you must have clicked it accidentally or soemthing.

Yes, I think while in facepaint mode when I was copying my textures this must have happened.
