I have been working on this project for the past few days and I’m not really sure where to take it, any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Rendered at 500 samples in Cycles. Right now I am porting this over to the game engine for a game that I am making.
Well, you could make some crates, some cloth over them and some lockers. I like the mood tho! Also, try making the lighting a little warmer, like a sunset. It could change the whole scene.

You should add peeling paint effect. Also check out Andrew Price’s tutorial on how to add rusts to objects.
I just created a cube with its material set to volume scatter, and made sure it encased the entire warehouse, then I just played with the density and anisotropy values until I got something that looked good.
