I think it’s a mistake to start everyone as a new user. Its like losing senority.
Some people have been here a very long time. I joined 2006. Kinda sucks.
Other than that, It’s OK so far.

For all those who might have missed the news (@colkai, @piergi),
you can now go back to the old website to find your subscriptions and transfer them here.
Here’s how to do it.

And take note of this :
if you posted on a thread back in the old days, you should already be “Tracking” the topic here. Only the threads you subscribed to without posting in them are really removed from your subscriptions here.

You can list all your tracked topics by going in Preferences > Categories > Show tracked topics
(I know, it’s an absurd place for such a thing)

That’s always been the case. If you want to be removed from the site, you’ll need to contact an admin (me or @bartv) via PM.

This is a pretty bad excuse when tasks can be automated. I’ve been here for ten years.
