@0o00o0oo: erm, I don’t reckon there’s a workflow. Its just making a color image and a disp. map, feed into Blender, render with cycles. Full artistic freedom with how the color image is obtained, which for me is anything from photo manipulation to fractal generators. I typically spend more time at this stage than in Blender. Hope it helps, cheers !
