Cool. I find this very striking, but I can’t put my finger on why.

Anyway, nice job.

verry nice, great lighting

Love it.

Of particular interest to me right now is what is reflecting off the sphere in the background? Adds to the “abstract” theme; then again what dosn’t add to a abstract theme? :stuck_out_tongue:

Kind of reminds me when you see studio shots of shiny things and if you look close you can see all the lights and camaras behind the lense.

I’m trying to reconcile what I see in the reflection (on the sphere) with what I expect to see. I see a soft-box overhead but expect to see some kind of square or parallelogram white object more-or-less right in front of me. But where is it? Are you sure that the reflection map is built correctly?

sundialsvc4: From zhay13’s post: “I made this for relax yafray render.” If it’s yafray, it’s raytraced. Although I have to agree, I’m having a hard time visualizing how the reflection in the sphere matches the environment as well.

Hey, I like it a lot. I especially like the way you did the edges of the walls…

yeah, how did you do those edges?

really nice. How did you do the edges? is there something like the edge effect of blenders internal raytracer (for toon renders) thats available in Yafray?
Or dyu just have textures that are boxes with outlines and the textures are fitted 100% to the planes (thus no tiling)?
Or something totally different?

Also like the touch of orange/gold/brown color thats gotten from your yellow/orange ceiling (which is not visible in the viewscreen; only in the reflection).
