Information about the story: Jack Walker is a soldier of the FantaCratian Army(FCA). The leader of the FCA is Carl Zero, a general and president of Esma(planet). The game shows the events of the Great War from Jack's point of view. You should list them when you actually have them.

Currently there are/is(all self-made):

  • a few textures
  • a few music tracks
  • one preview level
    You forgot to post those “few music tracks”.

This is all fine and dandy, but what exactly do you want from the community here?

Professional Quality?
I wouldn’t state that it is (or will be) professional quality until it IS professional Quality.

Sounds cool. When will there be a demo ready?

If everything runs OK there will be a preview level in a month. Most important things have been planned.

This was modelled in 3 minutes.
Cylinder: 7 verticies as head, extruded the chest.

Update: View first post. Two music tracks added.
The Main Theme is still in production. It’s on 75%.

Hmm. Yes “very” good. I am hoping that you will add facial features. Arms, legs?

I’m sorry for being selfisch. But probably I’m not a loved person at the game engine forum. Why are you picking on me?

Yes I was sortof in a bad mood, I apologize. Not many people in this forum can truthfully say that they are very good at low poly modeling, because it is very dificult to get good physical features with a low amount of polygons. But Ben Mathis is a god of game character/ low poly modeling.

His tutorials are very helpful. Check them out.

I’d lay off of calling your game “Professional Quality” because it’s not, and it makes you sound cocky. You have very high expectations but that’s not a bad thing. Having “Intelligent Enemies” isnt impossible but you’ll have to do a lot of coding for something like that.

Other than that I’d say your game looks pretty good so far. Your music isnt too bad and i think you could really get something going here if you play your cards right. You’ve got a lot of work ahead of you, and i wish you good luck. I’ll stay tuned to see what happens next = )

Ben Mathis’ tutorials are brilliant, I’ve followed many of them myself, with really good results.

You could set your land to smooth… just to get rid of the playstation look.

I don’t wanna play hand-to-gun combat, that would mean the other one has a gun… and we can only try t slap him. by the time we get there, your intelligent enemies will have killed us.

I’ve not smoothed the terrain yet cause solid gives a better look of depth at this moment.
I’ll explain some more about the hand-to-gun combat:

  • You’re without a weapon
  • An enemy is standing close to you with a gun
  • You kick his gun out of his hands and you take the gun
  • The enemy now has no weapon

I’m going to try to setup an AI demo to see how my AI skills are. I don’t know or I’ll publish the demo. It depends on it’s performance and functionality. It’ll probably be done with Python. Cause the game else will die in Logic Bricks.

The name might be changed. If someone has a better name, please PM me.
