Add a custom object to project

Hi, I made a tower that is in my fantasy world and I wanted to put it on a terrain object-not the right one yet, but a simple rocky looking one. So I saved my tower and then removed it from my current window and proceeded to make the ground to go under it. Now the problem is that I don’t have the tower and I don’t know how to ‘add’ it so I can put it on the terrain I created. Is there a way to add a previously created object to a project?

what do you mean by save it ?

save with another file’s name?

and then you opened a new file ?

salutations

I went file>save as> and then named it, went back in and stupidly deleted the tower from the workspace so that it wouldn’t be in my way while I was making the terrain or slow down my computer, not realizing that I would run into this problem.

So I have two files now, one with the tower and one with the terrain I want the tower on.

Open up the terrain .blend then go to File > Append or Link

If you Link you won’t be able edit the tower but if you Append you can keep on editing it.

Thank you! I was looking at that, but wasn’t sure what it was…
