I know how to change the default scene.
But is there a way to add a scene to the ‘File > New’ menu?
On the left of the File menu in your screenshot in that menu with the blender icon, there is an option called “Install Application Template”, its expecting a prepared zip. Use that or alternatively copy and modify a folder in your installation folder under scripts\startup\bl_app_templates_system.
