Hi, I am still a beginner, but managed to create basic plane based simple shapes which are painted in a single colour. Lighting makes it look better.
Would it be possible to make the art / plane looks as if it is made of cloth ? If yes, any help on it will be great. Thanks.
you can use the cloth modifier in physics tab

Everything I got for " cloth " in " physics " is the physical nature of a cloth. I would be happy with solid look with a texture of cloth material. Any tips ? Thanks.
I’d suggest to look up some tutorials on YouTube on how to setup materials in Blender. (Like this on: link )
Great Textures can be found for example on CC0 Textures or similar sites.

I want to present my most recent procedural shader for Blender. A realistic knitting shader that can be driven by usual image textures and makes excessive use of micro-displacement.
