There´s a clear possibility that I´m just a dunce, but… when adding tree, the addon works fine, but whenever pressing add leaves I get the error message in the screenshot…

hi, you need to press bevel first before adding leaves. This is a very cool addon.
thanks! Yes, I find trees out of the box look more realistic than the sapling addon, whereas the sapling addon has more customizability and armatures… always good to have options!

Easy to use, great results.
I’m also always lost in all the Sapling parameters.
Presets of some common trees would be helpful.
Also I’m missing ability to ad armature and anim option.
Like BrilliantApe I think I would be also lost with leaves.
It would be good to have an message to let user enable Bevel.
(I thought its only display option, but from this it seems like there is not a geometry of particle calculation.)
One note: Preferences description direct to View3D>Add>Curve>Tree , but add-on is located under View3D>ToolShelf>Create instead.
I just tried it, and i am F**CKING amazed, holy sht this addon is freakin’ ammazing. The controls are intuitive, the response time is great. Dude i can’t really thank you enough for making such a great addon
