Hi everyone! ![]()
I’m excited to share GameDev Batch Render & Export, a workflow add-on built specifically for 3D Artists, Technical Artists, and Game Developers who deal with preparing and exporting asset packages.
If you frequently build asset packs, prop libraries, or game-ready models for Unreal Engine, Unity, or market storefronts, you know how tedious it gets to manually setup camera framing, adjust studio lighting for thumbnails, fix origin points, and configure export axes for dozens of objects individually.
This add-on automates that entire preparation pipeline directly from a dedicated N-Panel tab in the 3D Viewport.
Quick Feature Overview

Key Features
-
1. Batch Studio PNG Render (Auto Thumbnails)
-
Automatically isolates each selected mesh, sets up a temporary 3-point studio lighting setup (Key, Fill, Rim lights) with proper exposure, auto-frames the camera based on object bounding boxes, and renders transparent
.pngthumbnails in a single click. -
Leaves your original scene lights and active camera completely untouched after render completion.
-
-
2. Multi-Engine Batch Export
-
Export selected assets as individual
.fbx,.obj, or.glbfiles. -
Includes built-in coordinate system presets for Unreal Engine (Z-Up / Y-Forward) and Unity (Y-Up / Z-Forward) to prevent rotated mesh issues upon engine import.
-
Optional Collection Folders support to maintain your project directory structure automatically.
-
-
3. Batch Origin to Bottom Center
- Relocates the pivot point (origin) of all selected objects individually to the exact bottom-center of their local bounding boxes in one operation.
-
4. Automated LOD Chain Generator
- Generates non-destructive Level of Detail (
_LOD1,_LOD2, etc.) chains using customizable Decimate ratios.
- Generates non-destructive Level of Detail (
-
5. Non-Overlapping Scene Alignment
- Align selected assets sequentially along the X or Y axis with custom meter-based gap control, or reset them to
(0,0,0)instantly.
