I’ve looked for tutorials and asked in the irc channel and can’t find an answer.
How do you get a bump map to align with a uv texture for animation. I can add a uv texture and it stays on the model where it needs to go, but I don’t know to add a bump(norm) map to it and have it move with the model during an animation. The answer may be right in front of my face, but I’m new to blender.
No, try selecting the faces you want with face select and pressing ‘U’ for ‘show texture space’. This will show the selected faces in the UV editor where you can manipulate them accordingly.
This is a correction to my earlier post in this thread, which I am now going to edit…if you tried what i suggested and it didn’t work, sorry! check the edited post!
