Adding colour to my 3D Map render


I’m really new to Blender and I am trying to make a coloured 3D map. I have made a 3D model by adding displacement to ‘heightmap A.png’ and I am trying to overlay a colored image ‘RGB A.png’. The problem is that when I render my map (using F12) I can’t see the colored image at all.

Switch your texture placements…Heightmap to Displacement Height and RGBA to Diffuse Color…
Make sure to add light … and the plane has a subdivision modifier preferably with adaptive subdivision turned on ( Cycles> experimental > GPU )…
