Hi all this is my new script Display Info… yeah the name isn’t so original so if there is a script with this name please let me know.
at the moment this is an alpha version.
Let me know if you like it and what info would you like to see on the screen.

With this add on you will be able to see object property like number of tris, vertex, Quads and NGons directly on the 3d View

i the next release i will add the ability to move the text on the screen and to toggle info to see!

[know Bugs]

-the scene info count also deleted mesh( mesh with 0 users)
-with large scene blender slow down

Thanks for the script. I was looking for a way to offer feedback in the user interface. I think this might be a good alternate until the developers come up with some way for use to link our scripts into the progress bar or have popups like we did in 2.49.

now i’m trying to find a way to display data in aligned, next i’ll look for set the text position and color, and add buttons to select what users want to see (i.e only vertex or only tris in the scene).
