I’m interested in this … I’m using forestpack and need a replacement tool in blender to migrate completely to it.

if I have a Mac machine I definitly will release a Mac version, but it don’t seem to be necesary to buy a Mac only for releasing.
the linux version I will think about in the future.

I want to release this addon to Gumroad,but because of the GFW of my country I can’t go into this webside derectly. I need to use VPN,but I fail to upload my file last light ,for many time it broke collection while uploading.

Please tell us when it’s on Gumroad. I start to loose the track of all the websites I have to check for updates.

I’m trying to release it on Gumroad,If It does. I will PM you. If still not successful,I will try to release to blender market (though I don’t know if they accept an addon with a C++ dll ,that’s why I still haven’t release an addon to market).

I think the market should accept it. They have the same requirement as the Blender Foundation: the addon must be gpl = you must provide the source if a customer ask. You don’t have to provide the source from the beginning.

green_land for blender 2.80+ is developing and will be out soon…
the position\rotation\orientation\ scale\ density\ of all plants are controllable as LOD(level of detail) way. all the plants models are hand-made with poly count optimization
the plants library models will be updated with more detail. There will be no overlap between all the plants (solved by algorithm)
