[addon] LeoMoon LightStudio beta for 2.8x

i use BLightStudio with this Texture Pack(HDR Studio Lights Texture): https://www.pingo.nu/vfxtools/

works very good. unfortunately I reach the limit from my Graphiccard too fast -> out of memory :frowning:

I wish those light textures were free so I could include them. :frowning:

I came across these light textures on redditt. https://zbyg.deviantart.com/art/HDRi-Pack-1-97402522 There are 3 free packs according to the posting. You have to go to the right side of the page to download.

Those are environment maps, not light textures.

I wann use BLS again and its working with the official 2.79 Version. Now i tried the Buildbot version from yesterday and get an error:

Please would Blightstudio be properly integrated to 2.8 when released? I would really love it, especially if it’s finally accepted as an add-on that c,omes with blender in the user preferences

We’ll do that but Blender 2.8 has to get finalized. Everything has changed since 2.7.

And your donations will help with faster integration in 2.8 when it’s finalized.

Blender Light Studio 2.3.11 is out.This version fixes profiles problem and is for 2.79b:

We’re still waiting for the final version of 2.80 to make a version for it.



I wanted to give a quick update on Blender Light Studio for Blender 2.8.

There is major feature missing from Blender 2.8 currently and that’s showing different collections in different viewports.

We’re gonna port Blender Text Counter for now until this feature is added to Blender.

If you have any idea on how to show different collections in multiple viewports in the same layout, please leave it here.




We still don’t have per-viewport collection visibility feature in 2.80.
