Addons issue Blender 4.2

Was about to add the Curve Tools addon, when I’ve discovered that it wasn’t there. I’m sure I’ve used it in 4.1. In addition, Blender shows me only a handful of built-in addon:

* Biovision
* Copy Global Transform
* Cycles render
* FBX format
* glTF
* Hydra Storm
* Manage UI
* Node Wrangler
* Pose Library
* Rigify
* Scalable Vector
* UV Layout
* VR Scene

Weren’t there way more addons in previous versions? Also when I refresh the list, Blender is unable to find the extensions folder.

EDIT: I’ve installed version 4.1 and yes, all the addons are there.

4.2 has a different way of distributing addons now, called extensions.
And the set of addons in 4.2 was a hard battle with the devs.
Go che k the docs on extensions and where to find and how to install them.
