Adjust this hot air balloon [Blender 2.69]

how do i make the bumps less pronounced so when i put an image of writing on the side it is easier to read?
the left one is too bumpy and the right one is too flat!

fixed it.
took out a slice . removed the deepest cut.

spin and removed duplicate pixels.
not perfect but looks okay
