Adjusting time or speed of material changes?

Hi, I’m trying to make a bunch of objects sequentially flash, except I don’t want to illuminate closely spaced adjacent objects. Instead I’m using RGB IPO keys to change one of the colors. There are 3 IPO curves to create the sequential motion. Each curve controls material of every third object.

How can I conveniently change the rate (time or speed) and direction of the three curves at the same time without having to adjust curves separately?

Thanks.

You can parent the objects texture to an empty, then spin the empty. Whenever the x axis (I think x axis is right) points at the object the color changes, or the emissivity changes or whatever you wnat it to do. Change the spin rate.

Hope this helps
