Yes, bloody annoying tbh. Even got to click away the ads to be able to see the Reply button.
Time to get an add blocker after all, this is unusable the way it is now.
Websites arenât free to host, guys⌠it costs hundreds of dollars a year to keep a website open, not to mention the huge amount of database space for all the users and images uploaded here. If you donât like BA having ads, go make your own forum site with your own money and see how you long you can keep it up
My problem is not the website showing ads, my problem is that the ads overlap the interface of the website and I canât post without first clicking away the ad. I didnât use an ad blocker until this point but I do now.
This wasnât something we did - Google decided to activate an âauto experimentâ on both BlenderNation and Blender Artists. I just disabled them.
But yeah, running this site DOES cost real money as well as a lot of time. So Iâd appreciate it if people could either become a supporter on Patreon or keep the ads on.
Ok, if you disabled them Iâll disable adblock as well.
