Advanced modelling

I am wondering if anyone has any general tips on intermidiate to advanced mesh modelling…
I know its very vague… but i am talking about methods…
Like is there a general way to approach these things… because i am trying to model things and all is going wrong…

1st - its really hard to find animal models… that contain a decent front view…

But i am really wodnering how would i approach something thats semi-organic:
I am trying to model a teddy bear and thats why i am wondering…
is box modelling best? or point by point modelling

General tips: start looking at video tutorials, like those at mr_bomb’s Montage Studio. Don’t limit yourself to Blender specific tutorials: Lightwave, Maya and Max tutorials are close enough to give you an idea of workflow for an intermediate or advanced project, even if the specific tools are different.

It is really hard to find animal photos taken straight on, except for chimps. I suppose that’s because animals with muzzles look very weird seen in front view. It’s possible to model an animal head with a side and top view, instead. Sometimes a top view is easier to find.

I’d probably box model a teddy bear. Shape the body and head, then extrude the arms and legs.

kk thnx dude =)
