Advice on new computer Build

Hi there after managing with a laptop for the past while, I decided it was time to upgrade. This is my first time making a custom PC so I would appreciate some advice. I want the computer to run the blender smoothly when working with scenes containing multiple people (2-5). I’m curious for your opinion on how well it will handle rendering. I’m fairly happy with the current price right now and don’t particularly want to increase it unless there’s significant gain in doing so, although I am considering adding a second GPU at a later date.

So why are you buying a $500 motherboard? That’s over priced. Also this build is a beast and you should be good to go with just about anything.

Thanks for the feedback, I think I’ll be going with this build. The prices are AUD btw so motherboard only appears to be mid-range cost for an LGA2011-3 socket and it also included a wifi card as well as plenty of fan slots, and I may have a slight bias towards Asus at the very least in terms of motherboards.

save some money on the motherboard (200-300 should be plenty), RAM (unless you plan on hardcore OC, go with ddr4-2133), CPU (6700 has better clocks), and last but not least, the hybrid HDD (hybrid doesnt help much, and if your buying an SSD anyway, its even more useless).

again, unless you plan on overclocking it to death, the water cooler is a bit much. being your first custom build, i would recommend against such foolishness.
