After a rainy day

I wanted to share with you my first project i did by myself, after a couple blender guru tutorials and a ton of random blender videos i watched when my sleeping disorder kicked in.

It was inspired by a local railroad underpass i took shelter during a storm in the past month.
I have tried to make it as natural as possible but as i expected my capabalities are limited and for example the wall upper region is still too perfect. But I’m kinda happy with the result, I learned how important is proper mash and node management on my own skin. (Its a lot harder than i tought lol… its even messier than my room when i was a teenager)

I’m looking forward to use blender as an alternative for architectural visualization on uni after learning the capabilities of the cad softwares.

If you have any toughts about it i would love to hear it, any feedback would be helpfull

Thank you for your attention!

Recently I’m trying to make an animation of it, but boi oh boi it takes a lot of time to render one sec with decent settings…

And here some basic Gif of it, pretty bad quality, but you can make out what im trying to achive i guess. I would love to render some closeups but i gotta leave it for a few night to render for it.

I’m liking this. I’ve been stuck in similar places waiting for the rain to stop. You really captured the feeling there.

The only thing I would change is the color of the railing to not match the weeds and grass so much.
