After binding mesh becomes tilted

Hi Blender world,

I found a curious thing that I can’t seem to fix. When binding my mesh to the armature, one that involves two spline IKs, my mesh leans and twists just the slightest amount. It isn’t egregious, but I’m afraid that it will pose a problem later down the line (making normal maps for instance has been a pain). All the paint weights seem to be fine, as well as the armature being symmetrical with proper rolls and applied scale. What could be causing this?
