Aggravated NEWBIE - Please Help!

I’m new to Blender, just learning and I’m having problems with creating a character in the game engine. As you can see ( Assuming I uploaded the pics right ) in screenshot 1 My collision field doesn’t surround my object completely. And in the screenshot 2 it falls down into the floor part way. I have searched all over the place for a solution to this and can not find one. Does any one know how to adjust the collision field to the proper size ? - Or at least how to fix this ?

Thank You in Advance

The collision field I believe centres around the object origin. You can change the origin position in the toolshelf in object mode (Set origin) or in the Object / Transform menu

When using built-in collision shapes, they are centered at the object’s origin. You would need to move the origin to the floor to solve this.

Using 2.49b ? As in Blender version ? Actually I’m using 2.77a if thats what your refering to. Also THANK YOU!! That fixed it. Now I can continue my project. I do appreciate it.

Not quite, check the version in the upper corner, its 2.77 just has it’s template colors.

There’s a reason I wear glasses, apparently
