I accidentally opened a blender sub window and I went to close it, and then I made another one. And um well now…
I don’t know what to do! Isn’t there a close button or something???!?!
I accidentally opened a blender sub window and I went to close it, and then I made another one. And um well now…
what have you done
I dont know ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh
L click on the corner and drag it onto the next window over. Repeat.
When I started Blender, this was the most annoying feature for me
@WonderfulWafflez, also make sure when you click in the corner to hold it a bit and move straight towards the window you want to close. If you do it quick, you may open a new tab.
If you do it right, the tab should turn gray, with an arrow pointing out from it. The tab it points at, will be closed
Ye it helped a bit doing this, but I still coundn’t close some tabs…
If you don’t want to collapse all of the windows by hand, you can disable the Load UI setting in your User Preferences to auto revert all window layouts to your Blender startup file’s window layout. Once you re-save your blend after the windows are reset, you can re-enable the Load UI setting afterwards.
