I can’t use upbge for this project, it doesn’t work.

Just translate logic bricks and script in BGE from UPBGE file

I append everything, in 2.78, nothing. Should it matter about text or simplepath py name?

[untitled.blend](https://blenderartists.org/uploads/short-url/ifc1crfE6zbpc04d8SX93sYi19P.blend) (510.6 KB)

This I loaded in 2.78.

UPBGE files don’t work in BGE; that should be apparent.

sure, and the file I am using is for blender game engine, doesn’t work at all in upbge, it won’t even start in it. Only one file works in upbge, but I prefer blender game engine if possible.

if you have attached all the objects from the UPBGE file, then nothing will work - you need to configure everything in the blender engine according to the example from the file, and not attach it

The point being, the file I have only works for the blender game engine, the AI characters the level objects, and robot don’t work in upbge, I even removed everything except just the navmesh and Ai, and player, and kept the floor, I tried this last week. So unfortunately, any file for my old file would need blender game engine setup.
