Aim the 3D Pivot at a Component


I’m a Blender newbie. Coming from Maya, trying to get my bearings. :slight_smile:

I was wondering if it was possible to “aim” the 3D Cursor (which would correspond to the “pivot” in Maya, right?) at a component.

It would look like this (screenshot’s from Maya sorry): hahahahahahaah

So basically I would like my 3D Cursor to aim at a vertex, face, etc. If that makes sense.

You can also try shift-s for cursor snapping tools menu for some other possibilities
