Great foreground with the bus and great model but terrible set up of the lighting, the weird smoke/blurryness all around the bus and the angle the bus is shown at. I find myself saying “what am i looking at?”. You got a start with that foreground render just everything else is kinda of a mess.
Maybe a little bit brighter with the background? Definitely don’t do that smoke blur stuff it looks really bad and more color, everything is in the same small area of the color spectrum its too dull to look at
Basically the background needs to be different color or composition to make one point stand out. When making a scene you can’t have the same amount of detail and same colors throughout the whole scene, it becomes too busy and you don’t know what to look at. Something needs to pop.
For example: put more emphasis on that guy (It took me about a minute of looking at the picture to even notice he was there) have like a dimmish street light on him with a very defined shadow. Get more range in your colors, you are going for industrial crap hole land i know, but you can still make it interesting to look at
