Airport luggage trolley design

I’m doing first year of Industrial Design at uni, for the first semester I had to design a luggage trolley for airport use. This is what I made:

Front, top and side views:

One of the most important thing in the trolley was to make it take up less space when not in use, either by folding it up, or packing more of them together, or any other way.
The way this one works is that the platform has two wings, that open up when another trolley is pushed into it from behind, see the next pic:

Note that this 3D representation was all done in ONE day, modelling, texturing, rendering in Blender (yuck, deadlines!!!).

erm,… kinda slow 8) ? but what i´m seeing is good  .
what about compressing those pics :expressionless: ?

see ya

looks good, but the reflection on the floor looks a bit weird to me.
And the pics don´t load to the full sice because their file size is too big.

No images, link loads and loads … blank page.

Zsolt:

From what I saw it looks very good, but I waited about 8 minutes and still only got to see a third of the actual images :expressionless: Your image host is Sloooow.

Check this topic, look for the third post – It links to an image host called photobucket, which is very fast, free and allows direct linking:

(Hopefully I can see your pics soon  )

Here are the pictures at another host:

It was rendered with the first Blender build with raytracing, and the reflections on the floor do look a bit odd, I didn’t know how to fix it.

Hmm, I like this pictures … Its really good design!
Maybe it would be good to developp the floor.

ps.: Ferihegyen viszontlatjuk?
