I’ve been modeling the APC from Aliens and now experimenting on composing it (using The Gimp) but I actually think it stinks whatever I do
Please pass on your impression and suggestions 
Ps. I know it’s a dark render, that’s intentionally.
a dark render? well there is dark and pitch black! I can barely just see the front light and the bluish color of the front wheel. and some weird shaped thing above the back (I think) of the APC
This render is too dark for any comments. If you want to make a “night” render, there are other way than removing every single light source… You can play with colors to give the impression of the night. A bluish lighting is usually perfect to simulate that.
Rework the lighting and post an update if you want comments…
I took the liberty to lighten up the scene in Photoshop, hope you don’t mind.
It’s of course recommended you get this done in Blender first.

Quite alright. I thought it wasen’t dark enough, my monitor is pretty old and fading. On my laptop it’s too bright - go figure.
Anyways, you people can comment on the brightened image Sago posted instead :

You can automatically tell it’s the APC so I think you’ve done good job on the modelling, but I think a few things could be improved. Obviously the lighting is one. The texture of the APC and the floor looks a bit too spotty, it is almost like someone has been flicking white paint at them, although this might just be as result of Sago’s edits.
