align 2 objects

good afternoon,
How about aligning 2 objects?
Les’s say:
i have 2 cubes with different size and different coordinat and then i want to align (or snap) a corner of cube-2 at a corner of cube-1?

how make it happens?
thx

regards

The quickest way is to zoom in closely on those two corners and hold shift while moving your cube. It won’t be perfect, but it should be close enough.

to rocketman, thx for ur help.
is there another way?

Someone else was asking about aligning objects recently. No one really had an answer (the last time I looked).

For accuracy, and to align only one item at a time, you could use snap to cursor. Painfully complicated and very slow, but it works. Better ideas must be out there.

Make sure the cubes are squared in global space so that faces you want to align are in the same plane or will be in the same plane when touching. Tab to edit on of the cubes, select the face to be aligned, snap the cursor to the face, set Center Cursor for the object, Tab out of edit mode. Go to the other cube, Tab to edit mode, select the face to align, snap the cursor to selected, Tab out of edit mode. Select the first object and snap to cursor.

Ok, rereading your request you are looking to snap corners, but the idea is still the same. Again there must be a better way.
