when we use a an IK with a pole vector, there is often a pop between the edit mode and the pose mode.
To minimize this popping, the roll of the first bone of the ik chain needs to have is roll X pointing at the pole Vector, when it’s straight in front it not that difficult, but when it’s another angle, it’s a bit more difficult not to have a slight move… is the a function to align the roll to the pole vector?
the thing is that I have to be in pose mode to apply a constraint and the roll is on edit mode.
but since there wasn’t a function I create a script and yes, it uses some copy rotation constraint. it works perfectly, no more popping!
