Aligning Geometry Bits

I feel really silly for asking this, but I have a vertex loop for this little cartoon character selected in a back orthographic viewport. How do I align the six vertices to be at equal points along the X axis quickly, without selecting each one in turn and typing a number like -2.95 into the Vertex: X input in the Transform side-palette?

You should be able to align them quickly by selecting your 6 vertices and scaling them along x by 0 (s, x, 0).
