Aligning objects to each other or axis...

Hi… here I am again with a basic question… But I just can’t seem to find these basic functions anywhere…

Is it possiblie to align 2 objects to eah other ? For example, lets say I’,m in the top view and I have a plane and a circle… Now I want to position the ircle exactly in the middle of the plane…

I guess the align has to be done according to the center of both objects (Since blender will align the enters to each other)…

Is there a funtion in blender to do this??

Thanks in advance…

For your example, I would place the cursor at the center of the plane with SHIFT+S>Cursor to Center

Then, you can select the circle and move it to the cursor by SHIFT+S>Selection to Cursor.

Hope that helps.

Yes it does actually… thanks… it’s very simple ofcourse but I didn’t know about shift-S… thanks again… maybe you can help me with another question…

I understand that ctrl-t can track for instance a camera to an object and it works… but when I want to clear the track with alt-t the track doesn’t dissapear!

Any idea ?

Thnx again

if you used the newer constraint function you have to remove it via the corresponding button view. if you used old track, try ALT+R (clear rotation) after un-tracking.
