All you want to know about Poland

This year PBN or Polish National Library in Warsaw, that has ten million volumes, celebrates 275 years of existence. In times of WW2 it was burned down by Germans and rebuilt by Polish people after the war.

Everybody says Kraków and Warsaw. Sometimes they are followed by Poznań, Wrocław or Gdańsk. Must-sees as they are, I recommend i.a. Książ Castle and Palmiarnia (palm house) in Wałbrzych. Also OPN or Ojcowski National Park with its rock formations and Pieskowa Skała Castle all in the Prądnik river valley; Wieliczka salt mine; Duszniki Zdrój with International Chopin Festival and National Chopin Institute. Visit Jaworzyna Krynicka center, in Krynica Zdrój, to ski in winter. And, last but not least, visit Szczecin. In general, go beyond typical destinations as well, as my country has a lot to offer. Explore and share.
